The Scarlet Hotel | The Best Spas in Cornwall

The Scarlet Hotel is a luxurious eco-hotel and spa exclusively for adults, nestled proudly on the cliff edge overlooking Mawgan Porth. Featuring an indoor pool, multiple relaxation rooms, and an outdoor area with a natural pool and cliffside sauna, it’s a haven for relaxation. Secluded ‘chill out’ zones away from the pool area offer peaceful serenity, allowing guests to escape daily demands and prioritise relaxation.

Our experience began with a dip in the pool, accompanied by conversation and breathtaking views from the outdoor area - @vlogsbyniki braved the outdoor pool whilst I stayed warm in the cliffside sauna (no shock there, blame the raynards!)

The spa’s thoughtful design ensures that ocean views are always within sight, elevating the entire experience. The Scarlet offers a distinctive fusion of traditional Ayurvedic principles and Cornish influences, integrating elements such as fire, water, wind, and ether to provide a holistic experience.

After our spa session, we freshened up and returned to the restaurant for afternoon tea. While certain aspects of the experience pay homage to tradition, you can also expect a quirky twist of creative sweet treats.
