Trebah Gardens X Bango Kitchen Moving Feast

A couple of weeks ago, my sister Niki and I had the pleasure of experiencing a 6 course culinary experience by Bango Kitchen, through Cornwall’s most tropical garden, Trebah Gardens. Each Bango Kitchen tasting station was paired with a drink by Sharps Brewery (if you haven’t tried their Cold River Cider then you need to!)

The concept of this event was fantastic. You had to meander through the garden to find the next tasting station, often welcomed by live music and insane food by the team at Bango Kitchen. Some of the courses included a Venison BAO bun, Lobster & Salmon Tartare Cocktail, Jungle Curry, Sushi, by The Shellfish Ping, and a show-stopping dessert Millionaire Chocolate by The Dessert Shed. It’s safe to say it really was a feast!

The end of the route could be found at the garden’s own private beach. We were welcomed by a DJ playing house/funk music, The Shellfish Pig who was cooking scallops and The Dessert Shed that was giving out marshmallows to toast over the beach fires. It was such a great vibe and it was obvious as to how much people were enjoying themselves!

Sadly Bango X Trebah was a one off event, but you’ll find @bango_kitchen in their Penryn restaurant where they’ll be able to fulfil your Asian foodie needs.
